26 Jan Conference: WisteV-wistra-Neujahrstagung 2024 | 19/20 JAN 2024

As in previous years, as Board Member and Member of the Committee at WisteV (Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung e.V. / Association for white-collar crime) Rechtsanwalt Prof. Rübenstahl co-organized the „WisteV-wistra-New Year’s Conference 2024“, which was entitled „Ähnliche Fragen – Andere Antworten | Das deutsche Wirtschaftsstrafrecht im Spiegel anderer Rechtsordnungen “ (Similar questions – other answers | German white-collar crime in the mirror of other legal systems.).

The yearly on-site conference, took place in Frankfurt am Main on 19th and 20th January 2024, addressed to people throughout Germany who are interested in white-collar crime from all professional fields and sectors.

He also hosted the two panels „Haftungsgefahren für deutsche Unternehmen mit Geschäftstätigkeit in den USA in zivil- und strafrechtlicher Hinsicht – Minimierung von Risiken bzgl. des in den USA geltenden Unternehmensstrafrechts bei korrekter Vertragsgestaltung“ (Liability risks for German companies with business activities in the USA from a civil and criminal law perspective – minimizing risk with regard to the corporate criminal law applicable in the USA by drafting contract correctly) and „Vermögensabschöpfung mit Bezug zu den USA“ (Asset forfeiture with reference to the USA).
