As in previous years, as Board Member and Member of the Committee at WisteV Rechtsanwalt Prof. Dr. Markus Rübenstahl co-organizes the „WisteV-New Year’s Conference 2022“, which is entitled „Wirtschaftsstrafrecht und Wirtschaftsstrafverfahren im Informationszeitalter“ (White-collar crime and criminal proceedings in the Information age).
In addition, Prof. Dr. Rübenstahl will chair a panel – consisting of Staatsanwältin von Appen (public prosecutor) and Rechtsanwalt Dr. Hilf – on the topic „Aus dem Nebenstrafrecht: strafrechtliche Fragen der Veranstaltung von Glücksspielen“ (From the ancillary criminal law: criminal law issues of the organization of gambling) of the panel „Klassisches Wirtschaftsstrafrecht und Tatbestände des Nebenstrafrechts im Informationszeitalter“ (Classical white-collar crime and facts of the secondary criminal law in the Information age).
As last year, in 2022, the New Year’s Conference will probably be held partly as an online conference.
The conference addresses to people throughout Germany who are interested in white-collar crime from all professional fields and sectors.
